An Air Inuit Boeing 737-200C contracted to support Canadian Forces Station (CFS) Alert.



CFS Alert, Nunavut is the most northern permanently inhabited settlement in the world. It is situated on the northeastern tip of Ellesmere Island in the Canadian Arctic, approximately 817 km from the geographic North Pole at coordinates 82°28' N, 62°30' W.

On April 1, 2009, the Air Force took command of CFS Alert. It is now a unit of 8 Wing Trenton, Ont.

Those are getting sooooo scarce these days. The only time I see them is when they're being used up north, because they can be fitted with a gravel kit, something the newer 737s don't seem to be capable of.
