The edge of Lake Ontario

A small section of the 9k trail on the south side of the base. Much of the trail is exposed to the Bay of Quinte, which opens onto Lake Ontario - the winds off the bay are cold... very, very cold.


 

There are also some reminders that this is an air force base...

The tree that is at the top of this one is one I would love to use as a screen saver. :)
