right as rain
I was explaining to a friend that I thought I'd feel right as rain after a few solid nights of sleep. I also mentioned that I had no idea what that meant and in response he offered that rain never seemed right to him.
Rain is a bit of a spiritual experience for me when I can sit under a rock overhang or against a huge tree that shelters me. growing up i took a lot of comfort from the rain being close to me yet being safe and dry - something that carried me through rough times as an adult.
