Lines and light

Blind luck often brings me to the right place at the right time, as in this case where I had stopped to take a series of pictures showing the picnic tables frozen in the ice of Beaver Lake¹, and in time as they await the sounds of laughter as the warm weather returns.

 

 

 

 

The picnic table that had first caught my eye.

 

As I moved towards the lake to get more of the tables in a shot it became very obvious that I had stumbled across a moment of light that was pretty special.

 

I suppose I could crop this but for some reason it would not feel right.
