The road home

carly_kaiAlong with so many others, I stood and waited in sub zero temperatures at the repatriation ceremony for Sapper Sean Greenfield, the 108th Canadian soldier to die during the Afghanistan mission.
The 25-year-old was killed when his armoured vehicle struck a roadside bomb in the volatile Zhari district, west of Kandahar city. He is the second Canadian soldier to die in Afghanistan this year.
